Madrid Atocha

 luggage lockers open 05:30-22:20 Mon-Fri, 06:15-22:20 Saturdays, 06:30-22:20 Sundays.  Small locker €2.40, medium €3, large €4.50.  The lockers are in the old trainshed with the tropical gardens, at the far right-hand end as you walk away from the modern train departure concourse. There's an X-ray check of all bags entering locker area.

 

Barcelona Sants 

luggage lockers, open 05:30-23:00 daily.  Small locker €3.60, large €5.20.  There's an X-ray check of all bags entering locker area.  However, there are no lockers at Barcelona Franca station.

Malaga (07:00-23:00 daily),

Seville (06:00-00:30)

Valencia Nord (08:30-20:30), Zaragoza (07:00-23:00) also have left luggage lockers.

There is a left luggage facility at the station available from 05:00 - 01:00 daily.

 

There are no left luggage facilities at Alicante, Cordoba, Granada, Algeciras, Ronda, Santander, San Sebastian, Bilbao, Girona, Figueres, Figueres Vilafant, Segovia, Toledo, Salamanca, Vigo, Santiago de Compostela and all smaller stations.  In Cordoba and also in Santander, try the long-distance bus station across the road from the stations which may have lockers.

 

To check whether a Spanish station has a left luggage facility, go to www.adif.es (ADIF is the equivalent of the UK's Network Rail).  Click 'English' at the top, then 'Infrastructure & stations' at the top, then 'Stations' top left and search for your station.  If there's a left luggage facility available, 'Horario consignas' will be listed with opening times.

Baggage Storage at Barcelona Airport

Barcelona airport has secured lockers in Terminal 1 where you can leave your luggage. A large Locker will cost about  €5.40 ,  €4.82  for the medium locker, and  €4.22  for the small locker per 24 hours.

There is a large locker storage facility at Terminal B of Barcelona International Airport where you can securely store your bags. There are three sizes for the lockers which are given below.

Machines accepts euro notes only (not coins or credit cards) with the following denominations only €5.00, €10.00 and €20.00 notes. Maximum storage is for 1 month after this they will remove your luggage if it is not removed before then. The payment is made in advance. If you are late returning after 24 hours you would have to pay for an additional 24 hour unit before you can remove your luggage.

 

Luggage Storage in Barcelona Centre

Apart from the airport there are several other baggage storage venues dotted around Barcelona these include:

1. Sants train station

The left luggage storage area is located towards the rear of the station and is next to McDonald's and the Telefonica phone shop. The service is 24 hour and due to security awareness you will be asked to put your baggage through a device similar to an airport x-ray machine. This area is a secure area manned by guards 24 hours a day. There are roughly 100 lockers with a choice of large or small.

The small lockers can hold items such as hand luggage or a small over-night. These cost  €3.00 .

Small: 80cm deep/ 60cm tall/ 40 cm wide
Large: 90cm deep/ 60cm tall/ 50 cm wide

The large lockers can hold a normal suitcase size and are  €4.50 .

2. Barcelona Nord bus station

 

These lockers can be found opposite the station within the outside bus area. There are roughly 50 white lockers in total and three different sizes to choose from; small, large or lockers for tall equipment such as skis (please note that there are only four of these).
3. Locker Barcelona at Carrer Estruc, 36 (a few minutes walk from Plaça

 

Pamplona Bus Station

Automatic left luggage locker cost:
Medium size €4.00 for up to 24 hours.
Large size €5.00 for up to 24 hours.
During Sanfermines packages can be left for up to 24 hours for €5.00. The machine on the right of the picture takes coins. There is a coin machine on the same level.
